Baking banana bread at home

This weekend I decided that the bananas that were sitting on the counter were starting to look a little ripe, so what does that mean?  It's time to break out the trusty ole stand mixer and bake some banana bread.

Got all my prep ready on the most part.  Eggs, flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, and of course bananas.

Everything is all mixed in nicely, love my Kitchenaid Mixer and beater blade.  I'll do a write up at some point about the gadgets that I use.

2 fairly even pans waiting on the oven to heat up

65 minutes later 2 wonderful smelling loafs of banana bread

The end result

  1. I was very lucky to have sampled this lovely Banana Bread! It was moist, tasty, cooked right through (unlike my own) and left you wanting more....Thank you, Alvin.....now hand over that recipe.....even though I don't have a mixer like you, I would like to try it out at home.....
